USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 PollUSA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 Poll 

Valencia (Calif.) stayed atop the USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 PollUSA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 Poll despite a second week of changes throughout the rankings. 

Canyon del Oro (Ariz.) and Everglades (Fla.) also maintained their previous ratings, coming in second and third, respectively, for the second straight week. 

A California team dropped out of the top 10 this week, as Kennedy (Calif.) fell to No. 18 after seeing its season ended. The drop moved Sunnyside (Ariz.) into the four-spot, while Broad Run (Va.) advanced one place to No. 5. 

Sheldon (Calif.) and Spruce Creek (Fla.) moved up to Nos. 6 and 7, respectively, while Garland (Texas) leaped two places to No. 8 after North Davidson (N.C.) lost to Butler (N.C.), who moved into the poll at No. 10, to drop to No. 20. Central Cabarrus, who lost in the playoffs to North Davidson, fell down to No. 25 after dropping to 12th a week ago. 

A third Arizona school moved into the top 10 as St. Mary’s debuted in the No. 9 spot. Fellow in-state school Buena stayed at No. 11. 

Shadle Park (Wash.) moved up one place to 12th. South Florence (S.C.), Naples (Fla.), Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) and Bishop O’Connell (Va.) each followed suit, advancing one place to Nos. 13-16, respectively. 

Soddy Daisy (Tenn.) debuted in the rankings at No. 17, joining 19th-ranked Marcus (Texas) as the lowest-rated of those teams in their first week in the poll. 

Northwest (Texas) followed North Davidson at No. 21. Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.), Lakeland (Mich.) and Vestavia Hills (Ala.) all held their places from the previous week to round out the poll along with No. 25 Central Cabarrus.
