A week full of upsets has led to a major shuffling in the USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 rankings for this week. Naples (Florida) is the new No. 1, taking over the top spot after a pair of wins moved the squad to 22-1.

Former No. 1 Dunnellon (Florida) fell to 11th after its 37-game win streak was snapped with a 4-0 loss to Sarasota.

Meanwhile, Alexander Central (North Carolina) moved to second after victories over Hickory and Conley moved its overall record to 14-0. The Woodlands (Texas) comes next, before a pair of California powers – Mater Dei and Valencia.

A total of seven new teams join this week’s ranking – highlighted by the resurgence of unbeaten Olathe Northwest (Kansas). Ranked 19th, the defending Class 6A state champions in Kansas presently ride a 36-game, two-season win streak.

The USA Today/NFCA Top 25 is compiled by state representatives from across the country. Records for this week’s poll include all games played through April 18, 2010.
