For a third straight week, unbeaten Archbishop Mitty (California) keeps the top spot in this week's USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25, released Thursday by the NFCA. The Monarchs hold on to the spot after defeating San Jose Presentation 3-0 to win the CIF Central Coast Section Division II championship.

The top five for this week includes Norco (California), Canyon del Oro (Arizona), Alexander Central (North Carolina) and Masuk (Connecticut).

Poll newcomers this week include Texas Class 5A semifinalist Smithson Valley, CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I champion Pleasant Grove (California), Florida Class 6A state runner-up Fletcher, Arizona Class 5A-Division II state champion Sunrise Mountain, Louisiana Class 4A state champion Belle Chasse and Tennessee Class 3A state champion Riverdale.

Records for this week’s poll include all games played through May 30, 2009.
