LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Thirty-six student-athletes from 18 programs were named 2025 NFCA National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I All-Americans.
McLennan Community College and Paris Junior College topped the charts with five NFCA All-Americans with four and three first-team selections, respectively. First-time national champion Northwest Florida State and Grayson Community College boasted four each. NWF earned two first teamers, while all four Vikings were on the second team.
2025 NFCA NJCAA DI All-Americans
National runner-up Florida SouthWestern State College was one of four programs to earn two All-America honors. The Buccaneers were joined by Garden City Community College, Santa Fe College and Southern Union State Community College. Both of FSW’s earned first-team status with one first teamer hailing from Santa Fe and Southern Union State.
Three student-athletes – first-teamers Trinity Allen (first base) of McLennan CC, along with NWF’s Cailyn Heyl (pitcher) and Sister Arnold (at-large first base) – are repeat All-Americans. Allen and Heyl collected their second consecutive first-team honor.
Additionally, Eastern Florida State College’s Avery Velazquez was named the Joan Joyce Utility/Pitcher first-team All-American for NJCAA Division I which was renamed two seasons ago to honor the late NFCA Hall of Famer and pioneer of women’s sports.
NFCA All-Region and All-America athletes must be nominated by their NFCA-member head coach, are voted for by the coaches in their region or division, and ultimately selected by elected NJCAA Division I All-American committee members to receive this prestigious accolade.
