LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. revealed the nine recipients of 2024 NCAA Division III Rawlings Gold Glove Awards ®, presented by the NFCA, on Thursday afternoon.

Tufts senior pitcher Sophia DiCocco leads the winners, picking up her second straight Gold Glove honor less than 24 hours after collecting her second career All-America award. She pitched the Jumbos’ opener earlier today against top-ranked Linfield in the NCAA Division III Finals at Bell Park at Taylor Field on the campus of East Texas Baptist University.

Two sets of teammates are on this year’s defensive squad. Junior Ava Khoury and sophomore Casey Wissmiller represent Illinois Wesleyan at first base and third base, respectively, while Texas Lutheran’s duo are junior shortstop Linzee Leal and sophomore center fielder Annie Kay.

Salisbury junior catcher Emily Stockman was the pick behind the plate and Rowan junior Liz McCaffery was the winner at second base. Worcester Polytechnic Institute freshman Virginia McKinney and Lynchburg senior Lexi Powell rounded out the team in left and right field, respectively.

McCaffrey is the only other Gold Glove recipient still playing. The Profs face host East Texas Baptist later today in their NCAA Division III Finals opener.

Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, presented by the NFCA, were selected by the 10 regional representatives of the NFCA’s NCAA Division III All-America Committee, following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position.

Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
