SALEM, Va. — Maddie Fink scattered seven hits across seven innings and Amanda Mc Ilhany and Acacia Tupa had two hits apiece, as Wisconsin-Oshkosh ousted three-time former champion Tufts on a rain-soaked second day at the NCAA Division III championship finals Friday at the Moyer Sports Complex.
Morgan Rau singled in two of the (29-12) Titans’ three runs in the first, and Ana Iliopoulos and Tupa both walked with the bases loaded in a four-run top of the sixth, just before a weather delay.

The (21-7) Jumbos plated their lone run in the second on Rachel Moore’s one-out foul out to left that scored Mia Steinberg, following back-to-back singles by Steinberg and Casey Maggiore and a fly out to deep right by Reegan Coleman.
Meanwhile, St. Thomas and Rochester were tied 1-1 going to the bottom of the fourth when the third weather delay of the day proved to be the last, with their elimination game slated to resume Saturday at 9 a.m. ET.
Texas Lutheran and DePauw are slated to follow that game at 9:45 a.m. at the same time Virginia Wesleyan takes on Birmingham-Southern in the other winner’s bracket contest on the neighboring field two, as the tournament aims to get back on schedule. The winning teams in those two matchups advance to Sunday, while the losing squads have to play the other one-loss teams for the right to remain in the double-elimination event later Saturday.
