LOUISVILLE, Ky. —East Texas Baptist and Rowan are the top two teams in this week’s NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The (24-2) Tigers lead the way for an eighth week dating back to last season, while the (28-0) Profs stayed unbeaten and moved up another spot to second following a ranked loss to Randolph-Macon by Christopher Newport, which dropped the (26-2) Captains to third.

The next eight teams stayed the same, including No. 5 Virginia Wesleyan (24-1-1) and No. 8 Salisbury (23-3-1), which tied 4-4 due to darkness in the nightcap of their top-10 showdown after the higher-ranked Marlins captured the opener 5-2.

Randolph-Macon (25-3) and Gettysburg (24-3) continued their march up the rankings, and are now knocking on the door of the top 10, while Moravian (18-4) had the biggest surge of the week, gaining six places to 17th.

On the opposite side of things, Williams and Wisconsin-Whitewater slid down the poll following losses. The (14-6) Ephs split two of their three doubleheaders over the last week to drop six spots to 19th, while the (16-2) Warhawks split with Illinois Wesleyan and North Central to fall from 16th to 23rd.

Chapman (19-4), Simpson (20-2) and Piedmont (21-11) all received votes.

The NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll is selected by 10 NCAA Division III head coaches representing the 10 NCAA regions. Current 2025 records are listed, with first-place votes in parentheses.
