2007 Louisville Slugger/NFCA NAIA All-Region Teams
California Baptist led all schools as it had five players named to the 2007 Louisville Slugger/NFCA NAIA All-America teams announced by the association Friday.
Pitcher Amy Thomas earned first-team accolades for the squad that finished third at the national tournament a couple of weeks ago. She was joined on the first team by fellow hurler Candice Thomas, who garnered at-large accolades, and shortstop Chantal Millard. First baseman Geanie Jenkins landed second-team honors along with outfielder Sara Goforth.
Trevecca Nazarene placed a pair of players on the first team, as outfielder Jennifer Perkins and at-large pitcher Brittany Johnson earned the honors following stellar seasons.
National runner-up Point Loma Nazarene landed a pair of all-Americans, with outfielder Amanda Addie earning first-team accolades while catcher Allison Boeckelman claimed at-large status on the second team.
